The floor of this room is parquet with a herringbone pattern, and, judging by the painter's clothes and hairstyle, we're in the 1820s - 1830s.
The painting is in good condition. It has been cleaned, re-varnished and re-lacquered for its proper preservation.
It only remains to find a frame.
