Worked in Parma. Originally from Florence, a pupil of Rosai, he graduated from the art high school in the same city, then from the Academy of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Architecture.
In 1947-48-49-51, he won the first four national prizes at the Florence Craft Exhibition. He alternates between painting, posters, sculpture and portraits.
In ceramics, he achieves well-deserved success and is called upon by important manufactures, both domestic and foreign, to model shapes and run the color department.
The Australian Rogers brings him to London in 1953 to give new directions to English ceramics.
M. Rogers's oil portrait is now at the Museum of Fine Arts, London. Rogers' oil portrait is now in the Gallery of Modern Art in Melbourne, Australia.
In 1955, he was hired in Beirut, Lebanon, where his portraits and figurative sculptures met with great critical and public success.
In 1956, back in Italy, he taught ceramics in Tuscany and Veneto.
In the following years, he devoted more time to painting, and held solo exhibitions in Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
In 1963 and 64, he exhibited his paintings in Monaco - Geneva - Lausanne - Liège - Parma - Punta Ala - Modena - Florence - Verona.
In Santa Margherita Ligure, he won the silver cup at the 1964 National Figurative Painting Competition; in Brescia, he was awarded a prize at the National Painting Competition.
In 1964, he took part in important group exhibitions and regional prizes.
In 1965, he exhibited in Verona, Padua, Bologna, Vicenza and Parma.
1966 - Exhibits in Lucca - Trento - Salsomaggiore - Modena - Piacenza - Genoa - Amalfi.
1967 - Solo exhibitions in Beirut (Lebanon) - Punta Ala - Parma.
1968 - Fidenza and Parma, solo exhibitions and 1st prize for the portrait of "Miss Italia".
1969 - Major exhibition of drawings, paintings and sculptures in Mantua and Parma.
1970 Feb. - New York for exhibition at the "Samanthè Gallery" in N.Y.
1970 May - Bari "Galleria Piccinini". 1970 July-August - Costa Smeralda - Porto Cervo - Porto Rotondo.
