Box from (Sorrento Italy) in straw and polychrome noble wood marquetry , opening to a lid on the top and a key on the front, The five sides are decorated with folk scenes depicting peasant couples. Each of the scenes is inlaid with wood on a blackened wood background and set with a straw marquetry frieze.

Condition : Good general condition, used condition, small marquetry chips on the front and back of the box,the bottom of the box is cracked, original key , small malfunction of the closure.
