Important Art Deco animal sculpture after François POMPON (1855-1933) in bronze with brown patina, produced post mortem by the Ebano foundry, featuring the Walking Bear -Interesting example signed POMPON at the bottom of the leg and numbered 6/8 with the founder's stamp -Sold with its certificate of origin (it will be given to the future buyer)-Good overall condition, dimensions: 44 cm long X 23 cm high. Beautiful emblematic composition by François POMPON, the original of which is exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, referenced in catalog raisonné no. 122D. The model was presented in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1922.
