Louis XV Style Desk Armchair
Charming molded and carved walnut desk chair, made in the Louis XV taste during the 19th century.
It features an elegant, fully caned violoné back, framed by a structure with supple, flowing lines inspired by the rocaille repertoire of the 18th century. The armrests with cuffs rest on curved consoles, while the scalloped belt is embellished with a central shell and delicate plant ornaments.
The ensemble rests on four cambered legs ending in slight scrolls, characteristic of the Louis XV style. The seat and backrest are upholstered in wickerwork offering both visual lightness and comfort of use.
A removable cushion is available for the seat and back.
A removable taupe velvet cushion accompanies the armchair, enabling daily use while preserving the cane seat.
With its harmonious proportions and beautiful decorative presence, this armchair will naturally find its place in an office, library or living room.
