Ancient & elegant hard porcelain cookie from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres depicting "Fleur des Prés", an emblematic work by Art Nouveau sculptor François-Raoul Larche.
The young girl, barefoot, advances through nature leaning on a stick. Draped in a long cape with supple folds, she embodies the poetry, grace and symbolism characteristic of French Art Nouveau.
The delicate modeling of the face, the fluidity of the draperies and the naturalistic treatment of the base testify to the excellence of the Sèvres workshops.
The piece bears the molded stamp of the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres and the date 1921.
The sculpture is presented in its original blue leather case stamped "Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres", an item that has become rare.

François-Raoul Larche (1860-1912)
A student of Alexandre Falguière at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, François-Raoul Larche was one of the most talented French sculptors of the Art Nouveau period. Awarded several prizes at the Salon des Artistes Français, he gained international renown for his feminine figures, imbued with movement, poetry and naturalist inspiration.
His most famous work is undoubtedly the "Loïe Fuller" lamp, which has become an Art Nouveau icon. His creations were produced in bronze, marble and cookie porcelain by France's most prestigious manufacturers, notably the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres.
