Art Deco Period Sideboard In Oak
Oak Art Deco period buffet enfilade, in the taste of Maurice Dufrêne's creations, dating from the 1930s.
This piece of furniture features a sober, architectural line typical of the Art Deco period, sublimated by beautiful stylized carved decorations on the central doors.
The front is embellished with fluted columns framing two leaves adorned with geometric floral motifs in light relief, linked by an elegant carved garland.
The sideboard opens with:
- two central doors revealing a shelved interior,
- two side drawers concealed in the upper rounded sections,
- as well as side open shelves offering a beautiful decorative balance.
The top is topped with a superb marble in cream and green shades, perfectly integrated with the rounded forms of the cabinet.
Very fine workmanship with dovetail joints visible on the drawers.
Beautiful warm patina of the oak.
