Beautiful transitional-style chest of drawers in marquetry and gilded bronze, entirely hand-crafted by the cabinetmakers of the Ricardo do Espirito Santo Silva Foundation in 1966. The Lisbon-based foundation trains cabinetmakers, restores museum furniture and manufactures stylish furniture in the purest tradition of 18th-century cabinetmaking.
The chest of drawers is stamped: Fundaçao R.E.S.S. 1966
