17th-century Wedding Chest From Emilia-tuscany
A rare early 17th-century wedding chest made of walnut.
The upper part and edges of the piece are adorned with finely carved details featuring a central boss, while the base features lion-paw feet. At the center of the chest, on the front, is the lock and its period key, with two iron handles on the sides
The richly carved basin-shaped corbice is very beautiful.
The piece retains its original patina.
The interior is lined with fabric, ready for use
