17th-century Genoese Baroque Kneeler In Ligurian Walnut
Genovese Baroque kneeler in walnut. Drawer in the panel beneath the top; central door carved with St. John the Baptist at the spring; side panels with leaf motifs that are repeated on the drawer; the kneeler’s top folds down to conceal the compartment below. Legs with lion heads, interior in poplar. Liguria, 17th century.
