Pair of gilt bronze candelabra in the Louis XVI style , gilded and decorated with neo-classical motifs such as garlands, acanthus leaves , flames and torches.
Each candelabra comprising four lights set on four scrolled branches and acanthus leaves and the highest of a binet decorated with lotus leaves.
The circular foot is decorated with strings of pearls and a wreath of oak leaves set on a square base and chased feet . The decoration is spectacular and the chasing technique in amati and brilliant perfectly executed .
The decoration is inspired by the great master Bronziers of the 18 th century : Rémond , Caffieri , Prieur ..
Eoque : 19 th century circa 1880 .
The condition is very good , there is some use wear to the gilding due to the age of the candelabra. Electrification holes under the binnacles .
