A fine wooden bust. A bearded head with curly hair. The figure has a serene expression; it is carved from a single block of wood with a beautiful patina and sculpted “rondebos”. A fragment of a larger sculpture. Shows signs of past restoration (including a filled crack in the wood on the reverse).
