Ancient & charming little multi-layered glass creamer signed Daum + Nancy.
Beautiful winter landscape decoration.
The finely acid-etched decoration is enhanced by painted enamels depicting a snowy undergrowth, against a gradient background of golden yellow and frosted purple.
The hot-applied handle and subtle shades of glass perfectly convey the technical mastery and poetic sensibility of the Daum house in Nancy at the hinge of the XIXᵉ and XXᵉ centuries.

The piece bears under the base the handwritten signature Daum + Nancy in brown, a variant of the famous Lorraine cross used around 1898 to 1910.
