A collector's item emblematic of Norman folk art, this glazed earthenware rooster comes from the famous Poterie du Mesnil de Bavent. It bears the stamp "PM BAVENT" (Paul Meslier) under its base, a period particularly sought-after for the finesse of its modeling and the quality of its glazes.
Condition : No cracks, chips or restorations to report. The crest tips and feather barbs are intact.
