Two Animal Bronzes, Hunting Dogs (beagle?) - Late 19th Century

Pair of subjects in green patinated bronze representing two hunting dogs on terraces, one sniffing the air, the other the ground.
On oval bases in sea-green marble, molded and bronze counter base.
Late 19th century - early 20th century.
Small wear patina on one, old restoration with small chip on the marble base of the other bronze figure.
The Beagle Harrier is a pack dog that puts its excellent sense of smell to good use in hunting, that is what our sculptor sought to represent.
