Empire-style cherry wood table. Top with segmented veneer in elm burl. Band beneath the top with carved rosettes and gilded leaf-motif moldings; six turned legs with Doric capitals and gilded bases, resting on a molded base with a central carved and gilded vase; plinth feet with carved rosettes echoing those of the band beneath the top. Interior in fir. Italy, early 19th century.
