Our delicate 18th-century Canivet, in very good condition, is handmade. It features a watercolor painting of the Virgin Mary. From the mid-nineteenth century onwards, a large number of images imitating real Canivets, such as ours, were to be found: "lace images", which were produced semi-industrially.
We have framed this Canivet in a modern frame, with the sole aim of protecting the (very fragile) work, which we have just placed on a grey cardboard box. The work has not been glued to the cardboard, which will enable the buyer to frame it in a frame more to his taste.
Work size: 13 cm x 10 cm (frame size: 20 cm x 15 cm)
Shipping: secure packaging and delivery by Colissimo registered mail with insurance, for mainland France: 15 € - Europe: 20 €.
