Superb gilded and repoussé copper mirror in the Napoleon III style, featuring a particularly elaborate and spectacular decoration.
The pediment is adorned with two confronting chimeras framing a central cartouche, the whole topped by an important scroll and foliage decoration.
The structure is composed of several superimposed frames, finely molded and embellished with plant motifs in relief, typical of the eclectic taste of the 19th century.
The corners are enriched by openwork decorative falls with foliage motifs, bringing depth and movement to the whole.
The gilding, with its antique patina, rests on a dark background that accentuates the contrast and relief of the ornaments.
