Pipe In Carved Wood
Carved wooden pipe body from the 19th century "savant bear"
Twisted muzzle on which the muzzled bear clings, the
musel and neck are silver with no visible hallmark.
The silver rimmed eyes and ears are pierced to let smoke escape.
A ring at the end of the muzzle allowed the head to be connected to the bear's collar
by a chain, the latter is missing.
A makeshift cardboard box ( see photo) was placed to prevent it from falling off. The metal head receiver is eroded
over part of it.
Missing the end of the twisted scabbard at the bottom, I don't know what the small rounded metal rod on the bear's train is for.
Height 11.5 cm / width 6.5 cm
Price non-negotiable.
Payment by check or bank transfer.
Postage 12 euros Colissimo recommandé or Mondial Relay for France, other countries please contact me.
