KÉPI 'FOULARD' OF A CAPTAIN OF THE ADMINISTRATION.
Cap and turban in fine madder cloth, headband in fine black cloth, gilded rank soutaches, of the 1883 model.
Small gilded buttons, stamped with the star, hold the false chinstrap gilded in the color of the weapon.
Band embroidered with the administration star in gold cannetille.
Top of the cap adorned with a single-strand gold soutache Hungarian knot, typical for junior officers.
On the front of the headband, an attribute representing a five-pointed star encircled by two branches of oak and laurel leaves joined by a stamped and cut gilded brass ribbon, a tricolor silk cockade sewn directly onto the cloth topped by a gilded cannetille pompom, as was the rule before 1910.
Visor in black patent leather, lined in dark green morocco.
Interior of headpiece in monogrammed black silk, interior headband in supple black leather.
Head circumference: 56 cm
Worn headpiece, moth holes, soutaches and visor edge, slightly untucked in some places.
