Very beautiful painting with a view of Venice from the Bridge of Sighs, one of the city's most famous monuments.
Luigi Lanza, born in Venice in 1860 and died in 1913, was a great Italian artist who excelled at selling views of Venice. After his studies at L'Accademia in Venice, he took part in numerous exhibitions, including the one in Turin in 1881, and is represented in the museums of Bergamo and Florence.
We are in the presence of a very fine late 19th century impressionist view equipped with its original frame in very good condition.
The canvas is 34 by 53 cm.
