Beautiful Art Deco-style model designed in 1937 by Luc Lanel for Christofle.
Silver-plated metal handles, stainless steel blades.
24 knives including:
- 12 table knives, 25 cm,
- 12 entremets, dessert, cheese knives, 20 cm.
Excellent condition, well-shined handles, and few visible scratches from use.
Alfénide hallmark in all letters, on the handles.
"OC" horsehead hallmark for "Orfèvrerie Christofle".
18 grammage hallmark for large knives, 15 for small knives, good quality silvering.
Alfénide is a goldsmith's brand created in the XIX° by Charles Halphen and bought by Christofle in the early XX°.
In the 20th, Christofle used this trademark to produce certain models that duplicated others in its range.
Sold in a case in very good, clean condition.
