Note:
Albert Mura was a student at the Académie Julian in Paris from 1916 to 1917, then at the Grande Chaumière between 1917 and 1918 and finally at the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg from 1919 to 1923. In 1922, he became professor of drawing at the Collège Saint-Étienne in Strasbourg, then in 1946 at the École des Beaux-Arts in Mulhouse.
He decorated the Théâtre du Foyer Saint-Pierre et Paul in Hochfelden, as well as churches in Hochfelden and Beblenheim.
His works are held by the Bibliothèque Municipale de Mulhouse, the Cabinet des Estampes de Strasbourg and the Bibliothèque Nationale, as well as by the Mairie de Moosch.
