Urmulu Bronze Candelabra, 19th Century
Unique piece
Lot of 2 antique gilded bronze candlesticks.
These candlesticks are strongly reminiscent of the Hollywood Regency style of the 1940s and 1950s, with their palm tree shape.
But this lot is a precursor by far and dates from the early 19th century!
Gordon Getty (Gordon Getty Museum) owned the same candlesticks. Estimated by Christie's between 5,000 and 8,000 USD.
Made of solid bronze. With gilded elements, notably the pineapples and bananas.
Caution, very fragile. Transport outside Europe at your own risk.
Dimensions : 63H x 29ø
