Pair Of Kerosene Lamps On Gilt Bronze Terraces
Very elegant pair of oil lamps, now electrified, resting on superb shafts of richly decorated Canton porcelain, mounted in finely chased gilt bronze.
These lamps feature polychrome decoration typical of Canton production, consisting of scenes of figures in landscapes and floral and bird motifs, of great finesse of execution.
The gilded bronze mounts, of fine quality, add a precious touch to the ensemble, with careful ornamental work (friezes, moldings, scalloped bases).
Each lamp is topped by a frosted glass globe engraved with plant motifs, complemented by a glass cheminée.
The burner systems are preserved with their original wheels and keys, testifying to their authenticity.
