Lovely bronze sculpture of an elephant after Antoine Louis Barry, lost-wax cast by the Laugaraise bronze foundry in the 1980s. This bronze is signed on the terrace Barye , and has three stamps : Cire perdue bronze , FBL ( cachet de la fonderie laugaraise ) and Reproduction
The foundry holds the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, which is a government recognition mark set up to distinguish French companies with excellent craftsmanship and industrial know-how.
