19th Century Precision Botanist's Watering Can
A precision botanist's watering can in red copper, with an oblong body and a rimmed base, equipped with two handles and a long, precisely curved spout, with visible welds and rivets (see photos). This type of watering can was used by botanists in the 19th century to water only the base of the plant and benefit from the properties of red copper (water purification, prevention of plant diseases).
