An exquisite table from the Qing dynasty, dating from the mid-to-late 18th century, finely worked in elm (yumu) and retaining its original black lacquer, now enriched with a beautiful crackle. The piece is assembled using the traditional mortise and tenon technique, complemented by subtly hand-crafted curved spacers, testifying to the refinement of North Chinese craftsmanship.
