He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, and in his extensive body of work—spanning mural and easel painting, miniatures, and watercolors—he followed the style and themes of the 18th-century masters G.B. Tiepolo and F. Guardi. He received prestigious commissions, such as the decorations for the Parliament Building in Budapest, the souvenir pavilion at the 1910 Rome Exposition, and several rooms in the Royal Palace of Venice. There are also ten neo-18th-century panels decorating the Caffè Quadri, also in Venice
