A large wrought-iron door knob accompanied by its beautiful decorative iron plate shaped like leaves, in the style common to Southern Germany and South Tyrol.
There are some visible signs of restoration on the back of the knob and the plate (one end has been reattached); the plate was welded to the stem for fastening in recent times.
Overall, however, the item is in good condition and makes a striking impression due to its size and quality.
