19th Century Austrian Biedermeier Round Mirror
Large and original gilded wood mirror from the 19th century. Round and molded, this surprising mirror features a convex pane of glass (an old mirror) covering the mirror. The latter is encircled by a blackened, molded wooden section, while the gilded section is decorated with palmettes all around. The whole piece is topped by a ribbon-like sculpture. A quality piece of work in good condition, original in shape and size and suitable for all types of interiors.
