Louis Alexandre Dubourg (1821.1891). Painter from Normandy (Honfleur). Pupil of Léon Cogniet, close friend of Boudin and Jongkind, he is one of the most important painters of the Normandy school, renowned for his harbor scenes, rural landscapes and genre scenes. His works can be seen at the Eugène Boudin Museum in Honfleur, the Musée de sbeaux arts in Rouen, as well as in Caen and Pau.
