Shell And Bronze Insert XIXth Century

Exceptional corner unit entirely in tortoiseshell and bronze with crossbow front. Composed of two parts, the lower part is a full crossbow door with Berain-style decoration, the upper part is a curved glass door with a bronze astragal. The in-between part is flanked by a marble (royal breche). The top of the piece is surmounted by a plateform awaiting a bronze or marble. This piece of furniture of incredible quality was made around 1840 / 1850. Circa XIX
