Silver Bronze Pick-holders
Nineteenth-century silver-plated bronze aperitif pick holder.
On a round base engraved with a long pipe, a Chinese man sits cross-legged, holding an umbrella dotted with holes to thread picks through; he wears a moustache that falls in 2 fine strands on each side, and a long braid protrudes from his hat.
Surrounding him, on either side, is a flowering plant and a plate filled with what might be food.
This amusing and useful object is in good condition, slight deformation of the base very inconspicuous.
H: 11cm
Socle: 6.5cm
