Sublime Cabinet d'Apparat, Faire Office de Vitrine et Secrétaire d'Epoque Louis XVI, Marqueté de Bois de Rose dans Encadrements et Filets de Bois Précieux, Reposant sur un Piètement à Pans Coupés.
This Cabinet is Garnished with a Grey Veined White Marble Top with Cut Pans. The Cabinet opens at the top with a large drawer and two partially glazed leaves, revealing two interior shelves. In the Middle, it has a Retractable Writing Table sheathed in Havana-toned Leather, gilded with Petit Fer. At the bottom, it opens through two small solid doors, revealing an interior shelf. Very fine Butterfly Wing and Geometric Marquetry. The mounts are cut to simulate fluting. Beautiful ornamentation in Gilt and Chased Bronze such as Chutes, and Entrées de Serrures. Has its own Keys.
