Dimensions including frame: 83x74.
Signature on the back and Imberti canvas in Bordeaux on one. To be compared with a salon painting found in the painter's archives entitled: Solitude: La forêt de Contis dans les Landes. Both works date from the late 19th century, circa 1880/1890. The old Auguin signature on the stretcher suggests that they are in Auguin's hand. The works are in good condition with minor restorations.
