Rare and elegant laboratory precision balance, presented under its original mahogany and glass vitrine, resting on a pedestal with drawer.
The instrument, finely crafted in brass and steel, is signed "Anc. Éts Becker S.A. - Bruxelles", a firm renowned for its high-quality scientific instruments at the turn of the 20th century.
The central beam balance is equipped with two suspended plates and a highly sensitive adjustment system. It is protected by a glass cage to avoid any external disturbance during weighing, a characteristic feature of laboratory balances.
The wooden base features a drawer designed to hold weights and accessories (not guaranteed complete).
