Beautiful polished brass fountain, the lid surmounted by a fleur-de-lys in the style of the finial lilies. This fountain, which still has its tap, certainly comes from a royal building, set on columns, they were used to fill ewers and carafes.
Good condition, very decorative.
Early 18th century.1
