Napoleon III Pediment Mirror
Napoleon III period mirror in stuccoed and gilded wood, adorned with a pediment carved with floral motifs and acanthus scrolls of great finesse. It has been entirely re-patinated. The richly worked frame features a continuous frieze of foliage scrolls and pearl molding, characteristic of the 19th century. The uprights, framed by small corner brackets, add structure to the whole.
An elegant piece that will fit equally well into a classic interior or a more contemporary setting.
