A beautiful silver-plated flatware set by Christofle, circa 1935. "America" pattern, designed by Luc Lanel for Christofle in 1933. The set includes: 12 table knives, 12 table forks, 12 table spoons, 12 dessert knives, 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 coffee spoons, 12 cake forks, 12 oyster forks, and 6 serving pieces (114 pieces total). Sold in its original light wood case with four drawers and metal and Bakelite handles. Dimensions: 41 x 31 x 23 cm. Excellent condition. These pieces bear the hallmark of the Christofle silversmith. Timeless Art Deco design, still sold by Christofle. Excellent condition (minor marks due to use and age).
