Large, exceptional mirror. Height 218 cm, width 118 cm. Gilt wood frame with carved sides, imitating bamboo, adorned with a rich Japanese-style floral design. The gilding is superb; one can observe an alternation of matte and polished gold, which creates beautiful contrasts and depth. The central glass and the side glass panels are original, the silvering is in good condition with a few minor pits. The backing is also original. Very good condition, no restoration required.
