Superb, finely engraved and fully openwork sphere, decorated with traditional Chinese motifs. Exquisitely crafted, with rich chasing across the entire surface. The sphere opens in two parts and contains an interior holder for charcoal or incense. The numerous openwork openings allow for an elegant diffusion of smoke, creating a refined decorative effect. It retains its original chain for hanging. The interior has a beautiful antique patina, consistent with its age, and shows normal signs of wear. Complete and functional.
