Pair Of Antique Italian Doors, Dating From The Late 18th Century.
Pair of antique Italian doors (Piedmontese or Northern Italian style) in original grey-green lacquer, dating from the late 18th century.
Crafted with refined neoclassical lines, they feature an elegant curved and raised pediment (low-arched tympanum) topped by a richly moulded, sinuous cornice, typical of the period’s high craftsmanship. The double-panel leaves are framed by sophisticated concave and convex mouldings that lend movement and lightness to the surface.
They retain their beautiful original matte grey-green lacquer patina, with natural signs of age and wear that enhance their authentic antique appeal. Original lock (key included).
