A rare complete set of 12 unique animal-shaped knife rests, in their original cases.
These nickel-plated metal knife rests are in the Art Deco style and period.
They have a beautiful shine and are in excellent condition, with only slight wear to the nickel plating on the donkey, which is barely noticeable (see last photo).
All are signed "Colotte Nancy" on the bases and "Colotte" on the animals.
The original case is in excellent condition.
All the knives have identical dimensions: bases 8.3 x 2.4 cm, maximum length approximately 10 cm, height approximately 3 cm. Total weight without case: 798 g, with case: 1.7 kg.
