Large antique sculpture "The Secrets of the Earth," patinated spelter. This elegant work, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, depicts a draped woman holding a book. She sits gracefully and expressively on the earth. The composition is rich in detail and rests on a decorative base with its original cartouche. Very good overall condition, beautiful antique patina.
