A Pair Of Decorative Large Champlevé Japanese bronze table lamps.
The bronze vases finely decorated, with flowers and birds symbolising the Phoenix bird, all in the champleve technique with inlayed coloured enamel standing on wooden base and fine cast ears.
The Japanese phoenix, is a sacred mythical bird symbolizing fire, the sun, loyalty, justice, and rebirth.
The champlevé and the bronze are in original old used condition.
The champlevé technic means, that in the bronze by casting segments with decorations are saved, these segments are then filled with enamel and then placed in the kiln and the enamel melts down to the bronze and after that they are polished.
