Jean Victor Albert De Gesne (1843-1903), painter of hunting scenes and animals, watercolorist.
He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon, then at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1872 to 1889. Close to the Barbizon painters in his attention to nature, he painted hunting scenes and packs of hounds.
