Heart-shaped Vanity Table Lxv/transition
A heart-shaped dressing table veneered in rosewood and violet wood, Louis XV/Transition period, late 18th/early 19th century. The top opens to reveal a mirror and a veined white marble slab. Two pivoting drawers are located along the sides and a small drawer is positioned in the center. Below this, a side panel opens by spring-loaded ejection. The two side drawers operate with the same mechanism. However, the small drawer does not eject; it must be manually pulled out by turning the key halfway. The key is not original, and some veneer loss is present.
