1960s Desk By Designer Pierre Guariche
A 1960s desk designed by French designer Pierre Guariche and produced by Charles Minvielle. This model features a mahogany-effect laminated wood top and two drawers. The base is made of black lacquered metal. Throughout his career, Pierre Guariche focused primarily on mass-produced furniture that was practical, simple, and well-proportioned, always using the same materials: wood, metal, or molded plastic. In 1965, he received the René Gabriel Prize, awarded to a designer of modern, high-quality, and affordable mass-produced furniture. This desk is highly representative of his work.
