A solid silver Uniplat pattern fork. Very good condition, with long, even tines.
Complete and identifiable hallmarks:
Community hallmark for Toulouse, 1757.
Toulouse jurisdiction hallmark (charge and discharge marks) for large pieces, 1756-1760.
Maker's mark: Jean-Antoine Gailhard (1719-1793), admitted as a master in Toulouse on April 18, 1747.
No monogram or inscription.
Length: 19.5 cm.
Weight: 77 g.
